Yes. Lived about 5 miles NW of Drew on Hwy 15 just before the Union parish line.

Actually I stay away from Johnny's buffet. It just isn't the same.

I also skipped out on the cinnamon dessert pizza today.. I felt fat enough without it when I got done.

I agree about LBK's being greasy. Don't know if my heart or waistline could take that much "practice".

I think Johnny's regular pizza in much better than the buffet. Almost like two different recipes.

And I'm pretty sure we must know each other or at least our families do. I was at the pool just about every day from 65-80.

hmmm,, what year did it open? that's when we started... i wasn't there every day, just when I could catch a ride in a wagon or horse headed in to town..

That's cool. I was talking more in the 60's and early 70's. There was an Ice storm in NELA in 73 or 74 that completely shut Mecca down for about a week.
