What scenarios are there for us playing USC in a bowl game? I can't think of any bowl pairings of SEC and PAC 12.
Please don't screams Germans on this! You can see by my amount of posts I'm not on here very often
Thanks

None that I can think of.
If we don't go to Miami, we'll either end up in Orlando, Atlanta, or Dallas...provided that we win at least 2 of our final 4 games.

Is that new champions bowl going to be just SEC and Big 12?
ETA I found it on CBSsports.com
So with this new bowl and the cotton bowl, chances are if we lose another game we will end up at one of these vs a 1 loss K-St or OU, i guess depending on the AQ big12 bids... If we lose 2 more games.... well Chic Fil A

Requests For Proposal (RFPs) went out to several cities during the summer to host the new postseason game that was created by the SEC and Big 12 in May. Dallas, Houston and Atlanta are considered the favorites to land the bowl which will match the champions of the SEC and Big 12 (when available). The TV rights alone for the Champions is expected to match the $80 million per year the Rose Bowl got from ESPN.

If both LSU and USC win out, they could get matched up in the BCS Title game.
If Oregon plays in the Rose Bowl as the PAC12 champs, it is possible that USC and LSU could play in the Sugar.
Beyond a BCS matchup between the two, the bowl tie-in's make this unlikely.

Does the Champions Bowl start this season? I didn't see it on the list of bowl games on CBS website. If we are matched against a Big XII team, regardless of whether it's on the Cotton or Champions bowl, I'd imagine we'd play either K-State or OU. I suppose we could also play Texas Tech or maybe even Texas, depending on how the final standings shake out.
