I know it's blasphemous to say so but I believe it. I saw TN move the ball on them both in the air and along the ground. The Bama corners were caught out of position more than once. The vols couldn't keep it close because they have zero defense.

Mett and the WRs need to work on their timing. There won't be earth shattering improvement in 2 weeks but yesterday was not a reflection of our passing game. We can and will do better. The rest of the team is looking pretty darn good. Our Dline and our much improved LB play will keep us in this game.

Not saying we will win for sure but the fear factor on this board is absurd. We will be competitive and can win this game. They are not on a different level like they would like you to believe. It is a part of their spiel - mental intimidation.

I agree. They are beatable, just not by LSU.

In your opinion, what did you think of Tennessee's defense against Bama? Why did they give up so much?

TN couldn't stop anyone with that D. Who was the last team to contain Bama's run game?

I hate being negative, but which game was indicative?

Their offense isn't special. Ours can't score though.

Sure. Couple of pick 6's and a special teams TD or two, and their asses are grass.

frick Bama. Tired of all the a-hole licking that is occurring across the country. They have not played a legit defense all year. LSU has played Florida and South Carolina's Defenses. This will have an impact on the outcome of this game. Also, McCarron will throw at least 1 pick against LSU. Bama is a very good team, but their team was better last year.

Tennessee's D is bad, but yet they had solid pressure on McCarron all night up front, couldn't defend for shite in the secondary. I think our D-line will exploit their O-line which just isn't very good.

It was a reflection of a QB that was out of it completely. Btw, I thought our WRs ran their best routes yesterday. They were open a lot.

I agree to an extent, but I feel the biggest gain for us will be the improvement in linebacker play this year.

Our players won't be intimidated by them at all, it's going to be a really good game. And if anyone thinks otherwise, you aren't a real fan.
