I don't get it.
It's football, he's wearing pads on the field and he's not 8 years old.
Coaches used to slap us on the head, grab our jerseys and yank us around.
I guess his feelings are hurt and this complaint is all because he felt embarrassed.
"I didn't do nothing to provoke him."
Maybe you were doing something wrong on the field?
