It seems there are several posters whose opinions are thought of highly by the group for certain topics. I know I will miss several as I have not been here that long and some just do not post as much, so please help me.

Sorry if I have left anyone out, this is all I can think of off top. If this has any interest I will update and could be used as a point of reference for some.

This is a good list.
I always thought Russian was more if a Banking/Financial markets guy but I could be wrong.

Add Greenhead for stocks. He's pretty good.

Thats what I always thought, then I saw this...

Added Greenhead, I forgot about him... Has he been around lately? Also, was he the one who was going to be a doctor?

Brink, I think Greenhead is an engineer in the oil industry, but I'm not sure.
Yeah, I saw that too. I think Russian might be baiting a bit in that thread. There are some pretty good analyses in there though.

Yeah, no doubt. The guy knows his stuff. I just found it funny that he was asking a question I would be asking in hopes that he would respond.

Great idea for a thread. This should get stickied for anybody who needs specific help. Thanks for the recognition too.

Are you only life insurance?
Posted on 10/16/12 at 2:52 pm to OnTheBrink
Nah, I work mainly life, DI and LTC. I stay Away from P&C. I can help some on the investment side, but as you said, flask, Russian, and foshizzle are definitely the top dogs in that arena.

Russian is definitely the banking (central and commercial) guru.
I would like to add Rivers as the commodities expert. Put him right under Baylor.
Athanatos can be the I-banking and energy guru. He certainly cannot be the returning my phone call specialist.

I was hoping someone would catch that. I started thinking I had the wrong guy.
I see you around here a lot, where can I add you?
Posted on 10/16/12 at 3:06 pm to TheHiddenFlask
Yea, Rivers is definitely one to add. Good call.

That's me man. I am like a sponge on this board.
And I hope this thread does not come off wrong cause I value everyone's, well, most everyone's opinions. It just seems there are actually professional opinions passed along that are not biased (GoCrazyAuburn and the others listed) towards the companies they work for. They are good for people like us.

Compliance departments at companies will love this idea.

I personally do not know who any of the posters mentioned above work for, and to my knowledge have never stated. Just trying to get something started for (a) myself and (2)any newbies coming here looking for legit info.
If anyone would like to be removed from the list, please let me know!
