If you could have a draw that sees us through to the hexagonal, albeit second in our group, highlighted by a career ending injury to Carlos Ruiz.

Or a dominant win reminiscent of Barcelona that sends us through on top?

Win or draw there's no way we could finish second in the group. A draw simply puts us joint top with Guatemala based on all conceivable tiebreakers.

That being said I'd much rather a Barcelona-esque performance and a dominating win.


And if the most despicable player on the planet happens to rupture his spleen, testes and irreparably break both his legs, I'd be pleased.


ETA: Sir Ian Darke is reporting that Guatemala will use a five man midfield sans Marco Pappa.
