I still think that in order to set up the pass, you have to run the ball occasionally just to keep the defense honest. I think Spurrier lost his patience with it, and I think it frustrated him no end; I mean he always looks like he's one jalapeno away from indigestion, but he was fit to be tied on the sidlines. He relied too much on the pass, and LSU was ready for it. Shaw was rattled in the 2nd half by the crowd noise and the pressure. He regained his composure eventually, for the Cocks' final TD drive, but by then it was too late.
