Was it Bourbon N' Toulouse or Gumbo Ya Ya's? I've had both and thought they were both really good, of course I've lived in Kentucky my entire life too and think Zataran's Jambalaya is good.

Son, you need to visit more often and let the collective minds give you cooking lessons, the root of them doesn't matter, we have it covered on origin of the dish. The F&D board should be considered a nationl treasure.

ate here when i lived in Lexington. Wife and I (natives of louisiana) thought it was pretty bad--as in, a poor approximation of authentic louisiana food. my non-louisiana friends thought it was great, though.
