The tv audience has not changed in ten years. They still gravitate to crap.
Agree with this.
Also, F&G isn't a comedy. It's more of a funny drama (dramedy or whatever). Don't get me wrong, that's one of the things that makes it so great, but I think it would still struggle to find an audience in television today...the general TV-viewing public doesn't want to have to think about their shows, and F&G is much, much deeper than simply a comedy or a drama.
I do think it would do better today than it did, but it would still struggle. I also think it'd do better on a station like USA or TNT than network TV.
