If I were a Rangers fan, I'd be concerned about my aging/injured core of bats. Losing Hamilton will suck, even if he tanked at the end of the year and the farm system is deep.

I live in Dallas and listen to local espn guys that spend 3 hours a day complaining about all things Dallas. But one thing they and everyone is for sure about is that they won't pursue Hamilton.
They say that they have heard talk that the going price will be around 7 years 150-175 million.

I kind've think that's the thought of letting Hamilton walk. time to remake the team. Elvis and Moreland are the only returning starters under 30 (though Kinsler, Napoli, and Murphy are all 30 on the nose). Bring up Profar and Olt. Let Hamilton and Napoli walk. Move Young to the bench. That means you're only truly "old" starter is Beltre, who just had a MVP level season.
