Rewatching the game...

Holy shite, the receivers are BAD
Counted at LEAST 7 legitimate dropped passes. I think it's a different ball game without all the drops.

That is the #1 thing killing the offense.
The play calling is bland but they are throwing in some wrinkles.

My issue with play calling is they get too cute sometimes and go away from things that actually do work ala HB passes, TE passes etc

Couldn't agree more with this statment TheDoc.
Yes, the OL left alot to be desired. But, the drops killed any chance whatsoever.
I'm really suprised that guys like Armand Williams and Paul Turner haven't at least been given a chance.
I will say this OBJ has struggled, but I think he must not drop many of those passes in practice. I believe the kid is just trying to do to much and because of this he loses concentration. We all saw the catches he made last year and at times this year. I don't think you can give up on this kids talent. Reminds me of the struggles both Bowe and Lafell had early in their career.
Hell, I remember J.Reed dropping his fair share when he first converted and we know how that turned out.
This team desperately needs 2 or 3 of these WR's to step up and help their QB.

I can't say it enough, we don't drop 2 or 3 of those easy catches which would allow the offense to extend some drives and we beat Fla.
Honestly, if OBJ doesn't fumble that long pass I think we find a way to win.
But, we didn't.
I really don't think their is a quick fix other than for some good things to start happening then some confidence starts.
This is the week for that to happen. Your at Tiger Stadium with the Home crowd ready to get crazy.

Being ahead in the takeaway department is what this offense is all about.Create turnovers, play on a short field, and pin your opponent deep.Although the D is creating turnovers sois our offense. This team lives and dies by field position, and we just are not getting it.
