We SHOULD have beaten Jamaica away
If Jozy had done more to make that happen (and not called Jurgen incompetent on Twitter), then Jozy would be in the camp right now.
Boyd is not better right now than our other forwards.
Lichaj should be on the roster but wouldn't start anyway.

What do you want him to do? Get the ball from Howard and dribble the entire Jamaican team? Our midfield was so shittacular that he almost never got the ball.

NYT's player rankings after the Jamaica Loss. Attacking players only.
Clint Dempsey: There were a lot of questions whether or not Dempsey would start since he has not played a game since June. But Dempsey scored early and looked lively and energetic whenever the midfield was able to get him the ball. Unfortunately for the U.S., that that was far too infrequent. Rating: 6.5
Herculez Gomez: Like Dempsey, Gomez was not able to get involved in the game enough due to the poor play from the midfield but he still was able to make some effective plays. He was mostly responsible for the early U.S. goal, and throughout the first half he was one of the few bright spots in the attack. Rating: 6
Jozy Altidore: After a strong start to the Eredivisie season in Holland, Altidore was largely invisible against Jamaica and mostly ineffective. While the midfield play was mostly to blame, Altidore was not able to find a way to get involved. Rating: 5
