Not true. NO/GB fumble could not be reviewed b/c GB was out of reviews....if it had been in the last 5 mins of the game the booth could have called for a review.

clear recovery of a fumble can result in a change in posession regardless of whistle blown by ref (in NFL). Believe it is the same in college.

Yep, the only thing the whistle counted for was not allowing the ball to be advanced. You can still overturn the possession.

I assume you missed the 2 and hit 5 by accident because it definitely isn't 5 minutes.

I have always heard other wise.

They specifically said during the Saints broadcast that it couldn't be reviewed anyway because the play was blown dead. If a play is blown dead and is declared "down by contact" I do not think that it can be reviewed in the NFL.

College it clearly can be.
