He does seem to have trouble with a very short field.

I would have liked to see a pass to the corner of the endzone with a one on one. I don't think we have tried that.

I don't think the RB pass was so much more confidence in Magee as it was simply trying to catch them off guard.

Our recievers aren't exactly physically imposing, and currently are not separating from defenders very well. And then, there is the whole catching thing.

However, I thought a quick slant may be worth a shot, to a guy like Jarvis.

Where is James Wright?

Umm, catch them off guard? After TWO time-outs w/ a seldom-used RB surrounded by coaches on sidelines, then coming in game and lining up 10 yds. deep? As Homey The Clown so eloquently stated, "I don't think so!"
Now, if you can call the play w/o the TOs, hide the lil guy in the OL monsters, sneak him out there, then MAYBE...(shoulda woulda coulda)
