the truth about Jozy isn't he hasn't played well for the national team in a while. Maybe that's because of JK, JK's system, his lack of consistent starts, etc. He had the one nice layoff for Dempsey in the Italy game. I'm struggling to remember other good moments and can't think of one good overall performance lately. Against Jamaica in the first leg when he got the start he was absolutely listless - in the second game he came in late and tried a number of stupid tricks that went nowhere.

If you have to choose one striker and your options are Herc or Jozy, and your main criteria is national team form, not club team form or potential, then I don't think it's a very tough decision.

Not saying that he shouldn't be called up fwiw.

Outside of the strikers I don't think the roster's that bad. Am I leaving off any obvious snubs: Jozy, Boyd, Lichaj, Torres?

I actually wouldn't mind Beasley getting a call up.

If were taking national team form into account where is Boyd? He's looked great for us

Still no width on the roster. If Landon can't go, it's a place that can be attacked, especially if he chooses to use Parkhurst and Zusi in the same game.

I mean, I guess you could use Shea as a wide midfielder, but Klinsmann would rather try to instill a "pretty" 4-3-3/4-5-1, than play a 4-4-2 and win a fricking game.

No Landon, and it'll (whichever game) be Jamaica 1, part two.

well compared to what we have available, it's not that bad. unfortunately, what we have available as a whole is pretty fricking bad. the more i look at our available player pool, the more i realize how little talent we fricking have. it's depressing. we are not good at soccer right now, and i hate it.
