I used to live when he would et Andrea Apuzo (sp) come on and talk about all his specials and it would be obvious that Tom was patronizing him

Andrea still calls in and you do realize that when he calls daily to the show - it is a paid advertisement, don't you

That real Tom Fitzmorris website was GREAT ... but it must have been taken down ... I can not seem to find it now

NOLA is a unique place, and Fitzmorris fits like a glove. His act wouldn't fly anywhere else, but hey that's part of the charm. We are talking about the same radio market where a former host is doing time on a murder rap and most of the announcers are in dire need of speach therapy.

That site was utterly ridiculous and juvenile. Started by one of the guys who obsessed over TF...the guy named Ridley, but he went by some other name a few times and on that site. I can't think of what it was. Some of the obsessive folks posted over there and put up fake quotes from other posters on the site. I looked at it a few times, but it was so stupid I didn't waste my time on it. I didn't find it humorous in the least. Oh, it was kitchy koo or something like that. I think it was something TF said to the poster, so the poster took that name and started the site.

TF is knowledgable and provides good info. He's just not very nice when he doesn't agree with you. He talks down to people instead of with people. I believe him when he says he pays for all of his own meals. That's not to say that someone doesn't slip him a taste of something and won't put it on the bill, but he insists on buying his meals. The thing is that when he enters a restaurant, 9.9 times out of 10, the people know he's there and bust buns to make the meal and service as good as it can possibly be, so you have to take some reviews with a lump of salt. He's not treated like the average Joe.
