No, I understand all of that. I'm not saying we'll have Toure-sized guys playing forward...I'm saying we're trending towards seeing more freak athletes with superb technique, like Toure.

Everyone wants to go out and get a Toure. The wingers and forwards will most likely be smaller guys for obvious reasons, but I think we'll see more of these super athletic, super technical players in the future. More Toures.

The Messis and Neymars will continue to be that size, that makes sense...but the difference in pure athleticism between athletes (in any sport) today and the athletes of yesterday makes me think we'll see that emerging more into soccer, like Dandy has said with these kids in this particular system.

I really don't. Toure is a fine player, but he is a physical powerhouse, but he's not exactly a technical wizard. He has good technique. He's no Vieria, who was a bigger, faster, stronger, more technical version of Toure.

It's just really rare to find players over 6 foot who truly have superb technical ability.
