His books seemed to get more trite and formulaic as he went on and I stopped reading him too. He does have some talent but it largely gets wasted when he is trying to write a bestseller that will be turned into a movie. One that I really liked, though, as an audio book is Playing for Pizza. Not your standard Grisham novel.

Bought this in the Atlanta airport waiting for my connecting flight. A very good book and very different from his tried and true. I wish he would write more non legal books, but as has been said those are the books that bring in the money for him
