Can someone please explain to me how this protest thing works? Do they go back to that situation in the game and replay it if the protest is conceded as being correct?
I'm not holding out hope. We fell behind fair and square. But everyone knows that getting that 2nd out is infinitely important so I feel sick to my stomach.

I don't know much about the protest process, but I can't see anyway this will get overturned since it was a judgement call.

Good, because they denied it about 30 seconds after the game ended. Bud Selig needs to do MLB a favor and find a way to die.
