Mobile quarterbacks have always been tougher for the LSU defense to handle than pro style guys in recent years.
Other than Tebow and Newton, who were both all-timers, which mobile QB has LSU struggled against recently?

Jeremiah Masoli scored 36 points against LSU with Ole Miss. The Oregon and Mississippi State games were the closest games LSU played last season outside of Alabama. Tebow and Newton both beat LSU. Jake Locker kept Washington close a few years back. Obviously there are other factors in all those games besides a scrambling quarterback, but statistically those teams have a much better chance against the John Chavis defense
