You kind of have to feel bad for some of those monsters. They get killed on Earth by a Winchester, go to Purgatory thinking "at least I don't have to deal with a damn Winchester" than, BAM! There's Dean! FML

Anyone else think Dean may not be "full" human anymore?
Never thought about that. Dean had to do something to escape out of there. I can't wait to see flashbacks showing what he had to do or cut a deal with someone. I'm most interested in Castiel story to this overall storyline. I hope they don't force bobby back in a bad way like they did last season also.

yeah, guy keeps calling him "brother"
but maybe I'm reading too much in again, but i thought Sam may be possessed as well. One because of his Bon Jovi hair, and two he kept wanting to know where the "tablet(word of god)" was, when the kid was obviously not wanting to tell people to keep it safe, Like the reason Sam stopped hunting or looking for Dean is because he was possessed or whatever when he was trying to find Dean, and now using Sams body to recover the tablet for the demons.....but then I thought they both had their Bones carved with angelic verse to keep either of them from being possessed.....so not sure now what's going on

I am 100% not ok with Chuck being anything but Kripke.. please stop.

-In the finale there, is further foreshadowing of Chuck's true identity: When Dean calls Chuck, Chuck answers the phone "Mistress Magda," and we briefly see a newspaper ad for a blonde women in a bikini named "Miss Magda" on Chuck's desk before he puts his glass on it. This may be a reference to Mary Magdalene who Jesus, the physical incarnation of God, healed of demons. She then become a follower of his, and an early Christian leader.
-Chuck, after narrating the events that take place, finally appears dressed in white musing on the difficulty of getting endings right. He then disappears
- Chuck, it seems, is God. In the final revelation it appears Chuck is God - the writer of Sam and Dean's story. The fact that they manage to follow their own paths, suggest that the deity chooses to allow free will within the "story" he is writing.

Supernatural is a work of fiction, written by Kripke, who left the show in season 5.. the "god" in a work of fiction IS - the writer. I'm going with Chuck being Kripke, the "god" of Supernatural.
This is my opinion, now leave me alone.
ETA: That means we could honestly have a new "god" at this point, since the story has moved beyond Kripke!

In all honesty, I'm probably the very "viewer" that Kripke was talking about when he said "you can't go down the god path, because once you do that, there is no turning back"
In a show like Supernatural that takes the Supernatural stuff so seriously.. I just prefer there to be no representation of a "god".. I think that's why I loved the original Darksiders game, because it showed the war of Angels and Demons without a god all together.

when that show aired, he knew season 6 had been earmarked, shoot - they even had the final scene with Sam standing under the light watching Dean.. no
They knew Kripke was not the head show runner on the show anymore, so Chuck disappears in the end, just like Kripke did after season 5.

never said this, and it's really inconsequential but I would have liked it much better in this scene John returns if something like a skinless zombie looking thing grabbed "Yelloweyes" and the audience/nor dean realizes it's John until the light shines and he gets healed to his former self before the centuries of torment and torture in Hell.....then he has that longing look of contentment and the audience has time to soak in the "oh shite" moment.
