Serious betting question on this weeks Saints game.

Why in the hell does an 0-4 team have to give up 3 points?
Why isn't a 3-1 team favored over a 0-4 team, even if it is in the Dome?

it's the law.
also Vegas is stupid and has no idea what they're doing, its why those casinos aren't profitable. They need a new business model IMO

I thought the same thing today. Sometimes you have to take what the gambling gods give you. The 49ers getting points yesterday was the best gift ever to gamers.
I think the over in any Saints game is free money this season, fwiw.

When has Vegas ever shown faith in San Diego to win?

They never play the way they should. Maybe it is because it is their second road game in 2 weeks, or because Norv Turner is a hack for a head coach. Either way, I don't see how they have any faith in this Saints team right now. Granted they were much better yesterday, but that loss after having every opportunity could have broken these guys to the point of no return.

You must not really bet and like to act like yo do. Because the 49ers were favored yesterday.

Yeah, my bad. They were giving 3. Go back and check my posts from yesterday morning on this. SF was the lock of the season. Sorry for the confusion.

Yep, I won on the 49ers yesterday!

I don't have to go look back, I trust you. I won on SF also.It did seam like a sucker bet.

It did to an extent but there was absolutely NO REASON other than 'it seems like a sucker bet" to not take sf.
As for the original crappy post... The Saints are a prideful team who have won 41 games the past 3 season. There is still plenty of talent, and sd is coming into the dome for a prime time game(which Brees always excels in) on a night where he will likely break one of the longest records in football. They played their best game of the season yesterday against their best opponent. It's going to be a VERY long season but there are going to be a couple of weeks where they just explode on offense and the opponent simply won't be able to keep up.
