Flip green for Vick and white, I don't think Fitzpatrick will bring you to championship. White is consistent and can blow up with 25 pt games anytime. I like green but white is a solid wr 1 too

he's safe at least but frick if I have any idea how to feel about Vick. So much upside there but just such a disaster at times.

I think you made this deal at the wrong time.

You were buying a little too high on Charles and a little too low on Rodgers. You should have waited until both played the Saints.

I certainly considered that but for all the other reasons I listed I felt it was ok

what I couldn't think of is how much more I could have gotten for Rodgers assuming he went off this week. The main stud RBs are not for sale and their owners have solid Qbs as well. It tied everything up

I still like the deal for you. I think you made out fine.

But Rodgers has commanded way more talent in previous years. You sold a little early but still made out ok.

The only question will be can Fitz keep the magic going? If stafford/Vick have another mediocre week, I'd look to add them cheap and maybe ride a hot streak later in the season

Yeah, it was fine. It is possible you could have gotten marginally more value after week 4.

I also thought that maybe we would learn a little bit more about Nicks' health, so you know whether to get Nicks or Bowe.

In no way would I do that deal. Remember Rodgers has played 3 top 10 defenses so far.

So you'd think that playing Fitz and keeping Green is a better move than getting Vick/White?

I tried hard for Stafford too but he's locked with Foster's owner who is an unbelievable pain in the arse to trade with.

I may have missed it, but you can get Vick/White for Green?

If so, that's enticing, but I hate to pay for backups at the expense of studs.

I'd say let's roll with Fitz a few more weeks and see what happens. His downfall last season was due to an injury. He plays in One of the worst passing defensive divisions in the league.

Green can always be your ace in the hole. If you hold a stud like that, he will usually command 2 starters at least in a trade. See where this new deal takes you and adjust accordingly

Yeah Vick and White are on the table

Waiver wire wise is basically Palmer and then the standard dregs

I'm a huge fan of white.. Top 5 WR for the past few years and gets no love. I honestly think he will be more consistent then green.

I just traded Vick away in one of my leagues, though. Something worries me about him. But I'm the type who looks at the numbers and it tells me white will be as good as green, maybe better. Vick would be a nice bonus in the case that he settles down into the guy we expected

Yeah, I can't see White finishing that far behind Green, so I would think getting Vick as well would make that a no brainer trade. Vick has way more upside than Fitz at any rate, even though he's been ugly so far.

He'd be buying low on Vick just like he sold low on Rodgers, he'd be coming full circle.

Haha that's a great thought actually. I think I will make that deal then.

Losing Green will be the worst part of this for me even though it makes sense- I love watching him play.
