Interested to see how much they go into the Belichick coaching tree with saban/ferentz

Speaking of which...is there a better "coaching tree" in the history of cfb than the one Saban had at LSU? Jimbo, muschamp, dooley, etc.

That looks really good, I was too young to realize what was going on. I never have looked back and really read a bunch on what happened.

Hayden Fry's wasnt too shabby.

Barry Alvarez, Wisconsin, 1990–2005
Bret Bielema, Wisconsin, 2006–present

I would say Bear Bryant's coaching tree slightly blows that one away. I'm sure a few of the other olders coaches have pretty solid trees, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Frank Broyles' coaching tree is probably pretty hard to top as well.

Just a few that coached under Broyles:
Hayden Fry
Barry Switzer
Johnny Majors
Joe Gibbs
Jimmy Johnson

That's 5 NC's and 6 Super Bowls right there. In fact Arkansas's assistants were so good under Broyles that the assistant coach of the year is named after Broyles.

looks really interesting

Of all the ones I've seen so far, I liked the one on Jerome Brown and Reggie White the most.

The city kind of screwed Art. I don't hate him as much as most Clevelanders

Will never understand the hype over Ferentz. Had a few good years but honestly Iowa sucks and has for at least 3 years. Any where else and he would be gone but who wants to coach at Iowa. Big Ten is getting weaker and Iowa is not even 500 there.

yeah no shite.

I remember he was still nerdy as frick when LSU hired him. They gave him a PR person and a makeover. I remember over night he got tanner, new veneers in his mouth, contacts, and a whole new wardrobe.

LSU created the monster we have to play every year and Saban awoke the monster he has to play every year.

How can you not like this man? He has mad street cred for an old, white Jewish guy.
