Make sure you didn't miss any bolts or anything.

Yes, removed the center castle nut - removed the hub - removed brake cover and the drum itself. Brake internals are removed, took 4 bolts off of the rear of the backing plate and disconnected the brake cables.

Backing plate has movement, but will only come forward about 1/2". The bearings are shot so there is movement, but the ID of the bearing will not budge.

I've tried a gear puller - scared to force it any more than I have for fear of cracking the backing plate (Cast Aluminum) Tried driving the bearing the opposite direction using a pipe / hammer to loosen it up, tried banging on the back of the backing plate with a hammer (rubber and regular). I havent got it to budge.

Part #24 is what Im stuck on - you can see that there is actually 2 bearings inside the backing plate, these are the ones i need to get out to replace.
