It is not as though Miles doesn't know how to win against Saban and Bama. He has done it multiple times.
The most recent loss is always on one's mind and unfortunately it was the title game. It was made worse in that it was against Bama (division) and Saban. There were already splits with JJ and JL and all of these factors makes it seem even worse emotionally.
Regardless of whether you have smart alec comments about Les' coaching/ buddy coaches/game plan/time management -

Les Miles has had one of the most extraordinary charmed football winning lives in the history of the game. Despite all efforts to sabotage - lady luck and talent won out - just count the games where bad decisions turned into winning plays.
Now that another team in the SEC has LSU talent - Bama...charmed life may be over.
