Wedding bands play till the end of wedding receptions. If ted leaves early, the bass player wouldn't be on his train.
It's a chance encounter Trey. Maybe, the train is late.

Maybe Robin is acting so cool about this because she is feeling guilty for NOT TELLING BARNEY SHE CANT HAVE KIDS WHEN THERES TWO WEEKS BEFORE THEY GET MARRIED
Pretty sure he already knows that

Alright, I'm a bit bored, but what song will be playing when Ted finally meets the mother? (I know there was one in the end of S8E1, but just humor me)
I'd go with, the ever cliched, but Rolling Stones classic Wild Horses

I thought it came out when she broke up with Kumar

Nope. she finds out she cant have kids in S7 ep. 12. 3 episodes after that Kevin breaks up with her, then Ted confesses his love for her, then they decide to move on from each other as Robin goes away for a couple episodes
Barney was pursuing Quinn at the time and him and Robin had little contact at all during those episodes (because he had moved on, this is even where Barney in full honesty tells Ted he doesnt care if he wants Robin, but oh wait no nevermind that scene apparently means nothing)
Everyone keeps assuming shes told people because it would only make sense. But no, she has yet to tell her fiance that her womb is bare 2 weeks before the wedding. Or anyone for that matter. They have completely ignored it.

you have to think the writers will address that issue. But, given the available synopsis regarding the remaining episodes that does not appear to be the case.
***********Spoilers Alert***********
I do find it strange as hell that for the upcoming episode "Something Old", Robin buried something in Central Park in anticipation of a wedding, given how anti-wedding she's been throughout the series.

Itll be a last minute thing before the wedding to add drama to the scene. And then someone will make an embattled speech about how they love each other and blah blah blah and theyll get married anyway because who really wants kids anyway right? Certainly not Barney, well if you ignore the billion hints that hes dropped over the past few seasons that he does want to be a father
Adoption isnt even an option, because Ted specifies that Robin never has kids at all. Only hope is thatS Barney should be able to lawyer his way out of that marriage real quick without losing half his shite if she doesnt tell him about something that
ETA Barney and Robin make as much sense as Joey and Rachel did on Friends. Which is none.

Exactly... Now onto to issues we shouldn't even touch with a ten foot pole... Who will be cast for the role of the mother?
I'll go with one that I saw somewhere else, and will transplant it here. Mila Kunis, she totally has the chops and awesomeness to make Ted go,"Who the hell is Robin?"
And to the naysayers, I apologize for my rampant speculation.

I feel like we've seen her (blonde) hair several times over the last couple seasons actually.

The mother has brown hair. Its implied becausethe episode that his wedding Stella falls apart there is a segment where the kids have blonde hair too...but then he says, "but I didn't marry Stella" and they go back to being brunettes

The writers need to brush up on their genetics homework

That scene could have meant one of a number of things. First off, it's a sitcom not some deep philosophical program where every little thing matters. Half the reason people are so disappointed as shows go on is predictability. At some instances it's needed or just makes sense, but the rise of information technology lends itself to support those people as episode synopsis, rumors, spoilers, etc. are out long before a new episode airs. But I digress...
Maybe Barney was over her at the time. People in real life change their minds all the time. Have you never had a friend that dated the same person twice or months/years after initially becoming friends? Or maybe he wasn't over her and just telling Ted that to make himself/Ted feel better.
For all we know, she has told them off camera.
