Gino's
Fleur de Lis
El Rio Grande
Jay's Barbeque, Gov't St
And one of the Indian joints there. I like the one on Essen, but supposedly there's one or two better.

I'll add this.
Beausoleil reminds me of some of the better spots in NOLA. if you haven't tried, ya need to.

Mansurs has really had better execution of food recently and I've enjoyed it thoroughly.

Bay leaf shocked me how good it is.

Ginos does traditional Italian as well as I've had in the area.

Stroubes has been a nice addition to the restaurant scene here.

Latils

Latils is really top notch from food to ambiance.

Thai kitchen as a whole is slightly above average, but man they have a few dishes on the menu that are really good.

Galatoires opening soon will kill it and be another nice add.

Ruffinos does some great dishes and nails their protein dishes.

Le creole has hit or miss items, but their hit items are damn good.

Oh...and pokies. Pokies meatballs kick arse just had some.
