Gainesville is one of the most boring of all SEC towns. And their fans are pretty shitty.

I agree with birdman. I have been to every game since October 2004 and my conclusion is that Florida is awful. It might not be as bad since they have sucked lately. They were much milder in 2010. 2006 and 2008 were pretty much 2 of my worst experiences with fans. Granted, we heckled em hard and probably deserved some of it. When UF is juiced up, nobody else on earth compares. I'd say the only thing close I've had was the way we were treated in WVU.

All that said, I recommend you go this year- can't pass up going into the swamp as the favorite. Take advantage of it! Hopefully their fans will still be nervous.

Every school in america has a-hole fans. I had at least 15 kids run up and physically grab me and scream "Tiger Bait" (how fricking unoriginal) 3 inches from my face after our loss in 2005. I also had fans come up to me before the game in 2009 and wish me good luck and say "We hope your experience in BR was a good one".

Are you guys really bitching about the cops saying something to you about an open container law? Or parking in a no parking zone? Go there, tailgate, have some drinks at your tailgate, enjoy the Florida weather, and go enjoy one of the best stadiums in all of college football.

Go to Knoxville and then tell me about a-hole fans. Go to Athens and then tell me about a-hole local cops.
