First thing...normally teams worry about have a GAME blacked out, not an entire season. so to have an entire season blacked out is pretty pathetic.
the whole season wasn't blacked out, just a few games during the season.

Now you're getting ridiculous...
NOTHING makes Tiger Stadium seem tame.
Tiger Stadium doesn't get its reputation for nothing. The Dome is also very loud.

Agreed. I was there on 1/9/12 and sitting on the Bama side and it was loud as hell. Gumps came out in force. Must have sold their double wides to get there. JK.

Dome is louder in my opinion. Acoustics.
I've been to some big games in Tiger Stadium, and in the Dome. Dome seems to reflect the noise better.
Case in point- Sugar Bowl against Illinois got absolutely deafening. So did the Saints against New England.
Won't get into a pissing contest about which fan base is louder, cuz in all reality at least 65-70% is the same people...

Depends on magnitude of the game
Still say the '09 NFC Championship was the loudest game ive ever been to for both stadiums

I guess posters are forgetting than TS Is known all over the world as one of the loudest venues. The dome, not so much.

I'd say the average Saints game is louder than the average LSU game, but bigger LSU games are louder than bigger Saints games.
