Because I wasn't comparing LSU's road in 2003 or 2007 to Alabama's road in 2011. I was saying that Alabama's road would have been impossible without the assist from the media. You have (I assume, deliberately) missed my entire point.

The media/coaches would've voted them in over Bama, and thus they got preferential treatment.
How is it any different?
It's ok if the media prefers the easy team. It's only when they vote in the tough team that you have a problem.
