Mettenberger play as little as possible after the game is out of reach. Ideally, that would be one quarter. Let's see Rivers play 2 quarters and either Randall or Bolden play the 4th.
This is totally unrealistic. Mett has only started 2 games at the D1 level and is going on the road to play an SEC game next week. He definitely needs to play more than 1 quarter.

I understand the perspective that Mett needs more reps, but realistically, how much better will Mett he be from playing one quarter vs. two?
I'm more concerned with Rivers lack of experience, if Mett goes down. I feel that the team stands to benefit more from Rivers getting snaps in this game. Otherwise, when will Rivers get meaningful snaps? Chances are, not during SEC play.
