I've been to about 10 or 11 games there (most of them lopsided losses for us. The pregame/tail gate atmosphere is lousy. The fans are worse. I do not like Gator fans in general. I have lots of friends that happen to be Gator fans but they are the exception (in most cases! 
) But overall they are not hospitable, do not offer food, and take themselves way too seriously. Its a good atmosphere in the Stadium in terms of noise and passion but don't expect to be treated well at all, esp. if we win.
Also regarding loudness compared to T.S., it is comparable but I would not say louder overall. In fact certain individual games at T.S. that I've attended were way louder, but it does depend on the team. Many of the games in the 90's were blowouts so in that way not a fair comparison.
