The thread, "why were we so bad in the 90's" got me thinking. Someone said that we didn't get Brett Favre.

Name recruits that we had a legitimate shot at that could have changed our progrma. I've heard the stories about the Manning brothers and Warrick Dunn. Anybody bigger than those 3?

Not necessary in the 90's, but anytime.

Dunn went to FSU only because that fricking abortion of a coach wouldn't allow him to live at home close to his little siblings.......Hudson would have ruined him as he did Toomer, Davis, etc.

Joe McKnight.

As it turned out, he could have changed our program for the worse by coming here

Ike Hilliard

He wanted to play wide receiver and LSU said defensive back.
One of these was wrong.

I'm surprised to make it to page 4 without Kordell Stewart being nominated.

The obvious answer is Rick Clausen. Single-handedly cost us the Hurricane Rita game, and possibly a 3rd BCS title that season.

Gotta be Peyton Manning. Not sure if Dunn or Marshall Faulk make as much impact.
