Whole Foods. For my marketing communications paper?

The assignment:
I'm thinking of doing Whole Foods based on the new direction several companies are taking with the fear of global warming, as well as organic products being one of the top growing industries (I should be able to find plenty of information.) and also because I think Whole Foods is ahead of the game when it comes to using social media a means of marketing/communication. I also feel I can relate to Whole food's targeted segment.
Thoughts on why it might not make for a good paper? Or if this is a good "product" to write about.
TIA. and for reading all of this I give you
quote:
Analyze the marketing communication(tools) for a chosen product. In this paper the "product" can be physical products, brands, services, businesses, activities, events, people, places, assets, organizations, information and ideas.
Important questions you need to consider (but not limit to just these)
- What / which communication goals do you think the sender has?
- What type of segmentation do you think the sender has been made and which profile is the target audience / audiences that communication is aimed at?
- What / which positioning strategy / positioning strategies are used?
- Which elements of the communications mix (POP, sales promotion, advertising, etc.) are used?
The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate that you have acquired knowledge from the course and are able to apply this to a specific problem. It is important that you are also able to integrate the different parts of the curriculum.
The task should also have a brief description of the selected product and its market communications.

I really hope your teacher sees this.
I did a final like this where we had to give future recommendations to Whole Foods.
Whole Foods has an extremely small marketing budget in comparison to industry average.

As in you hope he sees this bad way?
I'm looking for feedback on whether or not this is a good choice since we have to choose our own "product"
After reading up on them some more, I've decided to do it, and have to deliver an outline to him by noon monday. I'll link him to this subject
We did a final last year where we got a company and had to make a future recommendation for them. Not Whole Foods though.
