Anybody heading out there Sat for the UW game? Didn't go for NT but would like to for this one. After running into a gaggle of delusional MICH fans at SOUTH. Probably never going to try to watch a game there again...

I'm sick of five0four. Just can't do it anymore. I need some more room to stand up and be fricking nervous.

Mr Pockets leaves a lot to be desired as a pleasant LSU sports venue. The TV screens there are so terrible that you can barely read the players' numbers. Combine that with the "cheerleaders" and the fat old fairy running around with a tiger tail hanging from his butt, and I'll take the delusional Michigan fans any day.

You do realize that the South Bay beach cities have just as many Midwesterner/Big Ten fans as the other parts of Los Angeles. Good luck in avoiding delusional Michigan fans.

I was at Mr. Pocket's last weekend. It was alright, I'll probably go back a few times. I'm going to be in Ventura in the morning for a golf tournament, but if I make it back to town in time I'll go to Mr. Pocket's.

Looks like your thread has been anchored.

Mr. Pockets is a nice size. LSU watch party has the whole upstairs, bunch of chairs and a few booths up there. And the upstairs has its own bar, so you don't have to go downstairs for drinks.

Pockets is great and my kids and family happen to think the world of the fellow you are referring. He has done more for LSU So Cal than anyone I know and is a true fan with tons of spirit.

I'd like to hear what you have done for LSU.

Okay, point taken. If you think the world of him then y'all go ahead and prance around with him every Saturday afternoon this fall. I personally find him annoying. It's probably me. I just prefer a different environment to watch football is all, one where the tv monitors afford an experience where one can actually see what is happening on the field during the game for instance, and one where there is no 300 pound male cheerleader constantly mincing between me and said tv monitor is important to me as well.

But like I said, it is probably just me.

As far as what I have done for LSU, other than graduating from there and writing the LSU alumni federation a check every year since I graduated, pitifully little. I am embarrassed, now that I think about it. Where do you suppose I could get me one of those cute little tiger tails so that I too can stick one up my arse and dance around in front of LSU fans at every opportunity in order to demonstrate my uber fandom and love for dear old LSU?
