Hilt, there is definite value in kickers in regards to where they are drafted compared to their output. But it is extremely difficult to gauge a kicker from week to week with any sort of true accuracy. You can attempt to target a team that moves the ball well between the 20s but struggles in the redzone. And you can do the opposite looking at the redzone efficiency of the defense they are facing. I agree with all of this 100% and is exactly the reason why I do not like rewarding such a sporadic (lucky) position.

There is no rhyme or reason to the K position. You can play matchups all fricking day but it still comes down to drives stalling. I don't think that should be rewarded.

You can have a great week from 9 of 10 positions and get absolutely burned if your kicker only puts up 5 points while the other teams goes for 25...

I just dont like it but I've got Gostkowski so I should be okay...



ETA: I also think I take Dan this week in our matchup.

It will probably come down to whos QB produces more and I like Cutler vs GB a lot more than Freeman vs NYG ESPECIALLY @ NYG after a loss.

Also, HOU vs JACK, i should kill DEF/andre johnson.
Gostkowski vs ARI, he could score 30.
