re: Mike's in his cage

I've attended LSU as an undergrad in the mid 70's and graduate student in the mid 80's. I can't remember which decade....but as Mike was parked by the visitor's entrance, the cheerleaders would bang on his cage to try to get him to roar. When he did, the student section would cheer.
