It's still 24-48 hour turn around no matter who calls..

no argument here, but if you get the correct info from the customer and the agent call it in, it's still taking the same amount of time to process.

Many people in the agent's offices don't ask the right questions. Things like asking the steepness of the roof, 1 or 2 story etc, adjuster shows up to the house and can't get on the roof without additional help but no one knew that so another inspection has to be set. Another examplet, tree hit the house. How big, did it cut through the rafters, cut into the walls, soze etc. I have seen claims come in with NO info. I show up to the house 3 weeks later because it was low on priority and the tree took out the entire master extension of the home. Insured didn't call to ask about status because he knew we were busy.

No everyone is like this but more than enough are. It is better for everyone if the insured calls the claims line to file a claims...
