Any alternate routes to Laplace for residents?

I told someone that I would post this question for them. They live in a subdivision called New Era.

Airline west from Baton Rouge is open, not sure about eastbound. I-10 will get you to Gramercy. Airline from there.

Really? I would think Airline would flood moreso than I-10 would.

Airline east of Laplace did flood. There is one section of Airline by East St. John where eastbound is down to one lane due to water on the road, but no issues getting there.
