It wasn't Cersei that really did it. It was Littlefinger's idea to give that to Slynt. If was also Varys idea to get rid of Selmy. I'm on my phone on these post because my computer is fricked right now and the game is about to start but I promise to put some of those notes up tomorrow. Y'all might find some good in what I got.

I don't see why that would be Littlefinger's idea. Littlefinger wanted to get high enough to marry Lysa, so I don't see why he'd want his toad to get Harrenhall before himself.

I completely buy that it was Varys idea to get rid of Barristan though, but its still strange to me that he would send Barristan to Dany and not Aegon. The dragons hadn't even hatched when Barristan left the King's Guard.

Cersei tells Tyrion that they were behind the change up, not her. Reread Tyrion I in ACoK.

Honestly, I think Tywin was planning on shipping her back to the Rock as soon as the Wedding was finished. Tywin knew he had to let Cersei be there for the wedding and the unexpected trial, so he delayed her likely planned removal. If Tywin had lived to the present, he would have for sure sent her back to the Rock after the clusterfrick of raising Joffrey.

He would have still tried to marry her off from a distance, but I think that the only child that Tywin really realized what she was was Cersei. He knew she had to leave Joffrey and the realm behind, or they were doomed. It was really the decision listed above that I'm sure destroyed his opinion of Cersei, and he wasn't about to let her anywhere near power again.

And Slynt was lucky that it was Tyrion who came down and not Tywin, because Tywin would have probably just killed him off instead of sending him to the Wall.

All of this

Tyrion and Tywin make mostly the same decisions. Tywin only hated Tyrion cause he's a little guy. If the other 2 kids acted like Tyrion, Tywin would love it.

That's why Tyrion never "accidentally died" Tywin needed him to maybe rub off on the twins

I'm convinced that if Tyrion wasn't a dwarf that he'd be Tywin's favorite child and would be his heir. Even if he did resent him for 'killing' Joanna, I think he'd have no issue being his heir if he was "normal sized"; but Tywin is a cruel, evil, prideful a-hole and could never let a "weakling" like Tyrion inherit the Rock and besmirch the "Lannister name".

And it probably would've been a good thing for Tywin to have killed Slynt on the spot, but I love that Jon was the one who killed him. It was probably the best moment of justice being served for the shite he pulled against Ned and bringing the Stark household to ruin. Plus it showed that Jon was capable of manning up and a step in the right direction of "killing the boy and letting the man be born". Oh and Stannis giving the nod cemented him as one of my favorite non-POV characters.

Didn't Littlefinger originally ask Cersei (which Cersei reflected on in ADWD) that he wanted to marry Sansa (sometime during ACoK), but Cersei stated that he was too lowborn for that to happen?

I still think that Littlefinger wants Sansa to be his consolation prize (for not winning Cat) and marry her...And I think Littlefinger knows that Sansa is a younger, saner, more beautiful version of her. But I don't see it happening; Littlefinger has gotten by on a lot of luck in his planning, and I don't think that things are just going to continue to fall in line like they did the first 4 books. Major shite is going to happen in TWoW, and I think Sansa is going to shake things up.
