It's interesting that in his discussions with Dany Barristan Selmy keeps trying to paint the Starks and Baratheons as good people even though they were usurpers. And in book five we've got the part where "Barristan" muses about being in love with Ashara Dayne at the Tourney of Harrenhall. Well we know that Ned was in love with Ashara Dayne at the Tourney. Could Ned have warged into Barristan Selmy's body and gone to Dany in order to get revenge on the Lannisters?
