According to Alysane Mormont in adwd, Maege is with her other 2 daughters (who didn't go south with Robb's army). That must mean Maege probably made it out of the Neck is in contact other northerners.

Alysane was already trying to take back Deepwood Motte when Stannis got there with the mountain clans. Galbart Glover, whose seat is at Deepwood Motte, was the other one who was sent up the Neck to find the Reeds.

I'm sure Alysane knows about the Will's contents, just as the Mountain Clans know about Bran being alive. I would think also think they did some info swapping by the time they meet up in Deepwood Motte if they haven't already.

Also, the youngest Mormont daughter Lyanna (10 I believe) is the one that sent a letter to Stannis saying the only person they'll follow is a Stark. Jon wonders why she's the one to be replying because Maege should have left one of the older daughters on Bear Island.

Now who does this sound like? Manderly's daughter, Wylla who shows how loyal they are to the Starks, and Manderly tries to shush her. I don't think Lyanna was meant to send a letter like that to Stannis because we see Alysane join Stannis later.

Just curious, do any of you guys go to the westeros forums? There's a few threads about a Northern Conspiracy that goes into detail about all this stuff (and the possibility of a bunch of others who are in on these conspiracies).
