Not sure about the numerical significance but remember, Bloodraven was known for having a weirwood bow.

Bloodraven it is then.

BR also ended the first Blackfyre when Daemon and his twin sons were killed by BR's archers. Thus the 3 weirwood arrow?

Also, something that I found interesting about Bran's visions in ADWD - they appear to be a reverse timeline of events.

I took that as being the First Men making a sacrifice to the old gods.

I agree. Interesting that it is the red god getting the sacrifices now. Does this tie them together somehow?

Very possible....

But what was Bloodraven doing in Winterfell?

Its obvious he worships the old gods... at least later in life, but once again how and why? What made Bloodraven the way he is. He is the most interesting character in the series by far.

I've noticed that too looking back at it.

Now that I think about it, maybe it ISN'T Bloodraven. Bloodraven was albino with red eyes. Egg on the other hand was described as having dark eyes though. Maybe it's Egg instead? If they're headed to Winterfell it's plausible that he learns to shoot a Weirwood bow there.

Even though it could still be Bloodraven (and that's who I'd probably throw my lot in with for now), it's possible it's someone that hasn't been mentioned yet. Maybe someone older then Bloodraven.
