Obviously, it would be great, from a fan's perspective, if TM7 decided to sit out this entire year, remain at LSU, and come back for his senior campaign.

However, it would be in his best interest to continue playing football at the FCS level, just to retain his skills. Sitting out an entire year, even while keeping in shape, is detrimental to any football player. So, although it will be a lower level of competition, if he has any NFL aspirations, he should transfer.

My $0.02.

His best interest might be to clean his personal life up for a year.

Football right now shouldn't even be a priority.

His family has said as much.

I agree with this. While I will miss TM and his playmaking abilities, I think it's best for both him and the school if he took his talents elsewhere.

I feel sorry for him but rules are rules, man. A rule he clearly didn't have any respect for and blatantly disregarded since this wasn't the first time he broke it.
