Same story every offseason. Defense looks great in training camp, huge improvements coming. Blah, blah, blah.

It might be legit. Year 1 of the Haslett defense they were pretty good, year 2 basically the same personnel weren't very good. The same thing could be said of Williams' defense. The NFL is very dependent on scheming and game planning the opponent and I think it will take a while for opposing teams to figure the new defense out.
