If you watch Bolden's play against bama last year you will see that he did pretty well. There are some very nicely thrown passes and he shows a nice pocket presence and he also throws okay on the roll out. His biggest weakness is deep down the middle. He has to learn to find the safety. The other PSU QB, McGowin?, looks poor in comparison.

Based on this game, I think we were wise to get him on the team. Welcome to LSU Mr. Bolden.

This is Germans, but shite man, the dude is coming and bitching about it on here won't stop him.

I was disgusted at first, too, but best case scenario is he holds a clipboard and high fives Mett after TDs for 2 years. Everyone just needs to DWI, hell I'd rather him for 2 years as opposed to liggins for 5.

I am just looking at him as a half way decent insurance policy if something bad happens to Mett.

Inaccurate, stares down receivers, and underthrows balls into double coverage...... Yeah we need 5 more like him please. I don't care about all his experience in sucking. I would rather give Rivers a shot if needed. Been in the system and threw it well in the spring game.

I thought Bolden looked decent in this video. I wish he would have played the whole game. It was quite obvious McGloin sucks and has no hope. The playcalling seemed pretty conservative, except for that one beautiful reverse that was fumbled. The receiving talent is definately lacking at Penn St. Bolden made a few bad reads but he also made some nice throws and seems like he can make some plays. I am happy he is the backup. The more the merrier. Adding experienced depth never hurt any team. I see potential in him at the college level.

He's a great backup. I'd be worried if he had to play against Bama though.
