IMO it looks very bland. I don't think it looks terrible now that the chain link fence has been replaced but it is definitely not the same style as the old bowl or the new SEZ expansion (which looks great btw)

Its kind of amusing to know that some architect probably has renderings of the east & west uppers proudly on display in their office. I wonder if you can see the PVC pipe in those renderings.

From an aesthetic perspective it seems obvious that was the intention. I think it could look better but I don't think it's horrible and I'm certainly not gonna get worked up about it. I think that it will look kinda cool from the Nicholson/S. Stadium intersection once the champ's walk is completed.

Architecturally, I don't have a problem with a modern entrance to a overall classic design.
