My problem is that all TV shows for children seem to want to teach them everything; like shapes and animals and sounds and shite. Mickey Mouse is talking to the TV like "What shape is this? That is correct, it is a square" "What is the difference between our eggy and the duck's eggy?"
I don't recall too many shows like that when I was young, I recall them just doing entertaining stuff. Not every single thing needs to be a direct learning experience, children can pick up on subtle lessons in stories. I find that these shows are written by people who think I am stupid and can't teach my child anything, and that he is stupid and can't learn without Mickey telling him everything.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconAngry.gif)
