I have serious doubts about him being a better player than Peterson. Greater impact on a team, maybe but not better at locking down a reciver or returning kicks.

I think it's always hard not to be "near-sighted" with lists like this. That's why it's so good to have the old-timers on here to keep us informed. It sounds like the author is maybe in his 40's. Would be cool to see a list as voted on by ranters.

Tommy Casanova is the only three time All American in LSU history. There is a reason his name and number is displayed in Tiger Stadium.

Being a Leesville grad, where is Kevin Mawae. I would also give Eddie Fuller a vote before Trindon Holiday.

I can't believe any LSU fan would question Tyrann Mathieu. Like him or not he has been one of the most spectacular players to ever wear P&G. IMO, he ranks ahead of PP7 for his accomplishments last year. And PP7 is one of LSU's best of all-time. That was a horrible list.

I just feel like the best players of this decade >>>> best players from the 70's. Different breed of athlete...I could be wrong since I never had the priviledge of watching Cassanova play.
